Berkshire Sow Makes the Front Page
Uploaded November 2004

FROM THE DAILY TELEGRAPH, SATURDAY 6TH NOVEMBER 2004:
"Save Her Bacon: Milly is a Berkshire, Britain's oldest pig breed which can be traced to the Thames Valley in the late 1700s. But numbers are declining fast, says the Rare Breeds Survival Trust, with just 359 breeding females and 89 boars. 'They are simply wonderful and cannot be allowed to disappear,' said Milly's owner, a Sussex breeder"

Milly is owned by Mrs Anne-Marie Sapsted, a member of the Berkshire Pig Breeders Club.
