Pig Sale Opportunities

Building on the success of the 2003 show and sale at Ross on Wye where the overall average of mainly January born pigs was over 200 guineas and a top price of 700 guineas was achieved, the BPA and RBST are repeating their sponsorship with a 2004 show and sale at Ross on Wye on 21 August. The auctioneers will again be Norton & Brooksbank with Williams & Watkins. There will be a wide variety of classes as usual for all breeds.

They will also be sponsoring pig classes at the National Rare Breed Show and Sale at Melton Mowbray on 10/11 September. It is felt that the 2 events will be complementary to each other as they are in different parts of the country and will create the opportunity for top class pedigree pigs to be offered for sale during 2004.
