Piggy Health Matters
Uploaded April 2006

We would welcome hints and tips for good health management. It is difficult enough to find good, knowledgeable Veterinary Surgeons these days, often large animal vets restrict themselves to Horses and Pigs seem to be the poor relation. For those lucky enough to have a good vet, do everything you can to hold onto them, plying them with free sausage and bacon is a one way to encourage them to stay in your area!!!

It is also harder for smaller breeders to know what to do sometimes. Larger breeders may come across more problems and so can learn what works best. Our web site is great for discussion and information but for those without the internet, it can't help.

If you have any tales or good experience or tales of woe for us to take heed from, please send them by any communication means to the Editor, Christine Coe. Thanks.

Contact Chris at Jobes Barn, Glebe Farm, Fosse Way, Ashorne, Warwickshire, CV35 9AE or telephone/fax 01926 650005.
