Go Farmer April 2007 Newsletter
For the latest farming news and discussions please visit our forum at http://www.gofarmer.com/forum.php. The forum has been overhauled as it had been severly hacked and measures have been put in place to avoid this happening in the future. And visit our blog at http://www.gofarmer.com/blog. You will need to register separately for free with the forum. I recently went through all the products placed on
the Gofarmer site and noticed that on quite a few occasions members
were not listing their products in the most appropriate category.
For example the livestock category is for actual cows, sheep, pigs
etc for sale, not for feedstuffs or farm equipment. And please also choose an appropriate sub category.
Choosing the correct categories helps browsers easily find what they
are looking for and this translates into more sales for advertisers. Finally please make sure your product title actually explains what your product or service is. This is important for your product being picked up by search engines as well. Do not simply put 'Sheep' or 'Course' as the product description, write the breed of sheep, whether lambs, tup, ewe etc, write the type and subject of the course and so on...Please also include photos as adverts with photos consistently get more views and do better than those without and do not place duplicate ads in the same category.
