Bloodline Survey

According to the BPA website, the Bloodline Survey is underway with forms having been sent out this week. However, it's also possible to update your records on-line via the BPA website if you go to the Members' Area and log-in using your password.

Please do update your records either on-line or by completing the forms promptly and accurately. It causes a huge amount of work for the surveyor (Viki Mills) to have to chase people by phone. I do hope you can help us get an accurate picture of the state of the Berkshire breed and its bloodlines as soon as possible.

Thank you for your help.

Welcome...

The Berkshire Pig Breeders Club was founded in 1983 for three reasons: to promote the Berkshire breed, to further communication between breeders and to encourage the keeping of pedigree Berkshire pigs. This website has been designed to fulfil those objectives: it is a comprehensive online resource for members, enthusiasts and newcomers.

We keep a selection of articles from recent newsletters here on the website. We also add other information that will be relevant to pig breeders. Use the links in blue below.

If you're looking for good quality stock, visit our online directory of members, who will be happy to help you. Alternatively, visit our busy noticeboards, where you can read or contribute to discussions. Please note that as of April 2006, only members can post "for sale" adverts.

If you're not yet a member of the club, we'd be pleased to welcome you. Please feel free to browse our website before downloading the membership form, which is available by clicking here. If you have any queries, please contact Tracey Bretherton, our membership secretary.
