3. Chairman's Report:
Viki Mills as Vice Chairman deputised. She said how brave John had been, how
impressive and moving his funeral had been and what a hard act he would be to follow.
He would be sadly missed by all those who new him.
The breed has had good publicity during the year and the association with the P.G.
Wodehouse Society was a good one. Christine Coe had done well at their meeting in
October speaking about Berkshire pigs. The website was excellent. Hilary Bruce of
the P.G. Wodehouse had said in her letter that there was not much new material at
present but they had eaten Berkshire porKat their meeting in October and were
considering ways of sponsoring pigs at City farms and promoting Berkshire porKin
restaurants. Hilary requested that we let her know of our members supplying
restaurants because they are keen to help, and of any ideas from members of what
they could best do to help.
Lambourne Cider still have Berkshire pigs promotion on their website. There is still
some sponsorship money to come from them.
A special thanks to Christine and Kevin for preparing the excellent lunch.

4. Secretary's Report:
David Web thanked Christine and Kevin for the use of their house as our venue for the meeting and thanked Viki and the other Committee members for their hard work, especially Jo for her work with membership and the website, membership was at an all time high. He congratulated Sharon and Lewis, Christine and Kevin and Jo and Hector again this year on their success in the Show ring. The popularity of the Berkshire appears still to be steadily rising.

5. Treasurers Report:
Christine Coe presented the draft financial statement fort he year ended December 2005, which is subject to approval by our appointed Accountant. This shows a steady improvement and shows a healthy balance.
